Another new feature that prevents events creeping up on you, is the ability to use the spare space on the calendar to display events from the neighboring months. Looking at the example below, not only can you see the events for the whole of June, but also the 31st of May and the 1st to the 11th of July. The extra days are numbered with a smaller font so you can tell them apart from the current month :

There's also a larger box style so more text can be displayed on the screen :

And you can find old events easily with the built in Search window :

You can also now choose to display week numbers down the side of the calendar :
